Anchorage Snowfall 2025 Tacoma. (marc lester / adn) anchorage is edging ever closer to a seasonal snowfall record. Southcentral alaska’s first major snowfall of the season is underway monday, and parts of the region could see about a foot of snow or more overnight, as officials also warn.

Chance, either low or high, is not a direct prediction of rain, snow, or sleet. Alaska has plenty of experience with snow, but this winter is getting to be a bit much.
